I’m Chris, founder of RebellionBeat, based in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.
My journey began not in fashion, but among people. Through my work as a social worker, I have witnessed struggle, resilience, creativity, and the incredible strength of human expression.
The most powerful rebellion is… choosing to stay human.
RebellionBeat is an independent graphic apparel brand creating wearable ideas inspired by music, analog culture, and printmaking — for people who believe creativity, authenticity, and staying human still matter.
A REBELLION WITH A SOUNDTRACK
Every rebellion has a soundtrack. Mine was built through records, instruments, and late nights behind the decks. Music was never just something I listened to. It was a place where I belonged. From The Rolling Stones to Daft Punk, from James Brown to Black Uhuru, I was inspired by artists who challenged conventions and created something authentic. As a musician and DJ, I learned that music has the power to connect strangers, create communities, and turn ideas into movements.
Different sounds. One shared belief: FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION.
Music taught me that ideas can change people.
Social work taught me that every person has a story worth listening to.
RebellionBeat is where those worlds come together — through wearable ideas that start conversations instead of following trends.

CHAPTER 03
HOW WE GOT HERE.
A generation between analog roots and digital transformation. One that learned the value of music, subculture, and human connection before everything became digital.
The fall of the Berlin Wall represented a world opening up. A belief formed: different cultures can connect, and people can create change together.
Travel through Europe, Eastern Europe, the USA, Japan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia expanded my perspective. Along the way, I discovered cities through their streets, cultures, and music scenes. As a musician and DJ, I experienced firsthand how sound connects people beyond language, borders, and backgrounds. From underground clubs to street culture, from record stores to everyday encounters, people became my inspiration.
Years of social work, music, travel, and design finally found one voice. RebellionBeat became the place where those experiences turned into wearable statements.
A growing community of people who believe creativity, connection, authenticity, and staying human still matter.
